a beautifully curious and perhaps the most complex of all orchid flowers, some would also call it quite suggestive, the Bucket Orchid has ridged 6` bulbs topped by a pair of 15` narrow plicate leaves, pendant 12` basal spikes carry 2 to 5 well-spaced 4` yellow and pale-purple flowers that will generate more than a few comments, the flower is designed to trap bees and force them to pick up pollen as they escape, a truly exotic plant, free flowering and fragrant as well, must grow warm
