a spectacular, compact member of this fascinating genus, elliptical flattened 2 1/2` bulbs topped with a single 6` lanceolate leaf, 5` flowers have tightly spiraled, narrow ribbon-like sepals and petals, blooms are red-brown with an irregular pale yellow-green border. The large flared tubular lip is white with bright red-brown spots in the yellow throat, margins of the lip are crisped-undulate.
