a compact Mormodes with short fat 3` bulbs, deciduous 6` to 8` leaves are thin and heavily veined, numerous 4` basal spikes carry 2 to 8 exotically shaped and colored 1 1/2` to 2` flowers, the sepals and petals are dark wine red with dark maroon striping, the tri-lobed forward-thrusting lip is white and heavily striated with purple, fall and winter bloomer.
