the `Dove` or `Holy Ghost` orchid, Panama`s national flower, a very large and robust terrestrial with baseball-sized bulbs, deciduous plicate leaves are 3 ft. to 4 ft. long, 48` basal spikes emerge along with new growths carrying 10 to 20 beautiful blooms which open successively over several months, 2` cup-shaped pure white flowers have a white lip with reddish dots, lip and column strongly resemble a dove, very fragrant, large mature plants with new growths appearing.
