a Madagascan beauty with a fantastic flower, quadrangular bulbs up to 6` tall topped with several grayish green leathery 18` leaves, arching 24` spikes emerge with new growths carrying upwards of 40 glossy flowers in a somewhat cylindrical head which opens over a 6-week period, long-lasting 3` blooms are reminiscent of a Lycaste in shape, varnished sepals are gold with heavy chestnut brown markings, smaller petals are white tipped with pink, lip is white with red stripes.
