an odd genus allied to Oncidiums with a unique growth habit of flattened stems and foliage with alternating clasping leaves, looking as if it were braided, stems up to 8` bearing short 1` successive flowering spikes on the upper third of the canes, the attractive 1/2` blooms have soft yellow sepals and petals with a cute doll-like lip that is bright yellow and red and begs to be kissed
