a stunning miniature that is related to Cattleyas but actually looks more like a Pleurothallis in growth habit, a clumping plant with narrow 3` stems topped with a leathery rigid dark green 2` leaf, 5` spikes emerge from the base of the leaves bearing one large 2` bloom, the sepals petals and lip are solid brilliant orange, the flower is flat with wavy segments and a small tubular lip, blooms several times per year, a magnificent sight.
