  • spectacular discovery from the jungles of Sumatra with alien-like blooms, slender canes up to 15` with 2 1/2` smooth green leaves with black hairy undersides, leaf sheaths are also covered with black hair which is typical for this section (Nigrohirsutae), 1-3 flowers are found on both leaved and leafless canes on the upper third, stunning blooms up to 3` with oval sepals and petals that elongate to a sharp point, color is light green with contrasting dark green net-like venation, the angular lip is intense red-orange with an elongated protuberance
