an exciting ladyslipper, its leathery 5` leaves are tesselated with dark and pale green, the underside has deep purple spots, the erect 10` fuzzy inflorescence has one or two 4` flowers which seem oversized due to the enormously inflated pink blush-pouch, like bubble gum , sepals and petals are covered with an intense pink flush and marked with dark red-purple longitudinal stripes, staminode is yellow.
